their mission (the previous week) to remote Central Honduras, where
they were among a team of 11 people helping to build a classroom for a
small school in an ongoing international project to renovate and build
schools in that hard-pressed country.
This summer, from July 12-19, the group will start construction on a new primary school, and Sunrise members were invited to make the trip. They expect to have 50 people from the US and Canada, and they hope to have at least 20 volunteers from Naperville. The “noon” club and the Sunrise club have partnered to sponsor 2 students from each of Naperville’s 4 high schools, with the clubs paying half the cost. All 8 slots were vacant as of their presentation. Chuck’s two sons and wife are going with him. |

Vocational Service, and members of her committee gave brief
presentations. Leslie thanked District Chair Mary Ann
