Sunrise Fund for the Arts 2005
Journey to the Brazilian Rainforest as
Naperville Sunrise Rotary hosted the fifth annual Beaux Arts Ball "A Night
in Paradise" to benefit the Naperville Sunrise Fund for the Arts
on Saturday, February 19 at the Holiday Inn
Select in Naperville.
Cocktails, Dinner, Dancing and Silent and Live
Auctions raised money for the Fund, which provides grants to Naperville
area artists and arts organizations, arts education and audience
appreciation of the visual and performing arts.
Over the last four years, the Fund has raised and
awarded nearly $200,000 to the arts and education communities. New
this year is a $5,000 art student scholarship to be awarded to one
graduating student at each of the four Naperville high schools each spring.
Tickets were $130 per person and tables of ten
were available. Sponsorship
opportunities for members and corporations were also available. This is a
public, ticketed event.
