Interested in Joining Sunrise Rotary?
We are a fun and friendly local Service Club! We are happy to have potential members join us for breakfast a few times so we can get to know each other. If you are a service-orientated person and want to meet like-minded individuals we should meet! If you think we are a fit then you will have lots more questions. We have answers. Don't be afraid to ask. Can't make our meetings but want to volunteer? We need volunteers as well. Volunteering is free.

Someone on the Membership Committee will review it and contact you.
What are some good first steps to getting involved with Naperville Sunrise Rotary?
Attending committee meetings, volunteering at service and fund raising events, and attending other clubs meetings also makes you feel part of our Club. Find details in our Sunrise Rotary Calendar (See link in the footer section of this page).
Rotarians tend to regularly contribute some of their Time, Talents and/or Treasures to Rotary endeavors.
Rotarians enjoy fellowship at our weekly meetings Friday that include a program and breakfast.
Rotarians share the service of Rotary by sponsoring new members (inviting them to be your guest, sharing about Rotary, introducing them to other Rotarians, answering questions) that exemplify the ideals of Rotary.
Participate in the Paul Harris Foundation by contributing what you can.
Invite your friends and significant others to attend our social events.
Join a committee, become a chair of a committee and/or step-up to be a club officer.
Try to attend the Rotary 6450 District Conference in May and or RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Academy) around Columbus Day weekend.

New Member's Goals:
To get the most out of your Rotary experience, set these goals during your first 3 months:
1. Attend a board meeting and understand board members’ roles. (see our google calendar)
2. Complete personal information profile for website (in dacdb.com)
3. Upload your photo or get your picture taken by Bruce Dixon for our club website.
4. Come early a couple times and be a Greeter for members and guests
5. Participate in club projects and socials.
6. Bring a Guest to a meeting or social.
7. Get signatures of at least 10 club members after asking them about their rotary experience.
8. Check in the members by acting as the club secretary for 2 Friday meetings.
9. Sit at each table at least once on a Friday meeting
10. Visit entire club website- www.NapervilleSunrise.com pay your dues! Ask Jim (630-878-5680 cell) for help if you get stuck.
11. Visit Rotary International and Rotary District 6450 websites.
12. Strive for perfect attendance at all meetings and functions.
13. Identify the five avenues of service and pick one to become involved in as a member.
14. Choose a sponsor/mentor. Have lunch and discuss what you have learned about Rotary.
