We planned your routes for 2025. Each year road conditons or road construction effects which are the best roads and paths to take. This year we have decided to start at Trek Naperville instead of Comissioners Park. Mostly because Conditons at Commissioners are not ideal for bicyclists and has limited food and support services. Trek is a bike store and also has nearby resturants etc that open as early as 4 am. So you can find much more rider support if we start at Trek. There are 6 flush toilets between the ball daimonds just east of Trek. We thank Trek for letting us use the ample parking lots in the business center behind Trek. Please help us be a good nerighbor not parking in front of Trek or Napervile Running Company. That lot is not as close to our check-in and could overwhelm customers of the neighbor stores (which will open before you get back on that Sunday.
Wooley Road (on the east side of Oswego)has been under construction. But is now beautiful it IS passable, paved and peacefull. Also, as a plus, Woolley Road likely Will NOT be open to car traffic by ride day. So that is all great news for riders. Riders should start Behind Trek Naperville and take the pedestrian Bridge over Route 59 and paths west and South to 119th Street. From there we are on some great roads. We have 4 maps below. The are the same course but start or turn around at different spots. Questions? Call Jim @ 630-878-5680
Also note that the Ride With GPS app is available in the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store. The App is free to view our map sand your location on the maps. However there are paid versions of Ride With GPS whch offer features like audible directions etc.

2025 Naperville Rotary Ride versions of GPS route Maps
Rotary Ride maps notes 2025
All route sections are combined in the 1st Map above. Most of our route is out and back. So you can turn around at any Rest Stop. (OK technically you could reverse direction at any point in the 1st 25 miles and arrows will route back to your car at Trek Naperville).
We Start westward and finish Eastward on smooth bike paths while in Naperville (4.4 miles each way) . The rest the route is on roads that are quite nice.
One more short ride on a bike Path starts: @10.3 miles west. We suggest taking the bike path into and through Oswego's Prairie Point Park. That is because the path features a safer pedestrian crossing light across Plainfield Road. West of our Prairie Point Rest stop you will see the Grove Road bike Path. Because that path is quite bumpy riders usually prefer Grove Road.
Speaking of roads: We are proud of our roads and they are in really good repair this year. Please note that while about 0.8 miles of Woolley Road is closed to Cars, However, It is new, quiet and peacefully passable on Bicycles. One notable exception. About 18 miles out we still need to use School House Road. Cars and trucks move pretty fast hthere. it is just a 1/2 mile stretch of road (each way). We break off that road ASAP. Please Use caution on School House Road. Finally, be aware there is a pretty rough railroad crossing in the town of Millhurst (around 33 miles out).
Public Restrooms:
The 1st Restrooms are just east of our Start/Finish. They are between 4 ball Diamonds. Also restrooms are near at 1.5 miles & 10.5 miles. Restrooms get sparse West of the Oswego Rest Stop. There is an outhouse at Silver Springs (at about 30 miles). On the way back east the same 3 Restrooms are available in the last 11 miles.
The western Sections of our course are smooth & scenic but rustic.
Minimal restrooms west of Oswego. (Well, there is that one outhouse in Silver Springs State Park).
3 shorter Bike Paths are below.
Alternate Start: About 3 people asked if they can start in Oswego instead of Naperville. We said yep. Please note that T-Shirts are not guaranteed if you bypass the early morning check in behind Trek on rte 59 in Naperville. West of Naperville flush Toilets are only afound at Prairie Point Park. So go before your ride. Maybe Go twice just to be sure.
We have SAG driver support out west of Oswego from 7:30am until about 1 pm. Our rest stops at Cross Church and Silver Springs close when riders become sparse. Just because you parked in Oswego does not mean you're not welcome to drive back to Naperville and jenjoy some pizza etc after you finish. However, we maybe shutting down in Naperville by 2pm.
Update4d 8/10/2025: Woolley Road is now paved, peaceful and passable so we will NOT be using 127th Street between Naperville and Oswego. Woolley Road might not be open to car traffic but is the safest smoothest approach to Oswego from the East. (See maps above)
In addition to the Ride With GPS app for navigation we also marked the routes with bright colored directional arrows.
We mostly used Paint this year (as paint is hard to move). Still, As shown below you may also see we supplemented with a few signs and some route arrow stickers. Even Shome Chalk of the same colors as below.
There is one color for each section of the course as follows.
Between Naperville to Oswego and back is Neon Blue
Between Oswego to Cross Church and back is Neon Green
Then the Silver Springs Loop is marked in Neon Pink from Cross Church all the way back to Cross Church.
So if you are doing the 64 miles and gotten back to Cross Church then folow Green arrows back East to Oswego. Finally follow Blue Arrrows from Oswego back East to Naperville.
