Become a Paul Harris Fellow
The Paul Harris Fellow recognition acknowledges individuals who contribute, or who have contributions made in their name, of $1,000 to The Rotary Foundation. The Rotary Foundation helps Rotary members to advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace by improving health, providing quality education, improving the environment, and alleviating poverty.
Due to the matching funds from the Club and District, it only takes a donation of $333.34 to become a Paul Harris Fellow. Of course, larger donations have a bigger impact! And, you can even donate to have members of your family be recognized as Paul Harris Fellows.
Follow these steps to donate to the Rotary Foundation via Credit Card Online
Step 1
Sign into your My Rotary account, so the donation is linked to the Sunrise Rotary Club
Step 2
Click on Donate
Step 3
Select your donation designation (Annual Fund, Polio, etc.)
Select donation frequency
Enter personal inforamtion
Submit your donation
Follow these steps to donate to the Rotary Foundation via Check
Check Donations
Make your check out to The Rotary Foundation
Look up your member #, Club # and District # and include on the check. These can be found on your Rotary International Magazine
Give the check to the Treasurer
Charitable Account Donations
If you are donating from a charitable account (Charles Schwab, etc.) follow these steps:
Look up Rotary Foundation of Rotary International by its Tax ID: 36-3245072
Be sure to include ALL of the information on the Individual Contribution Form (Donor ID, Club Name, Club No., District No, Your Address, and Designation OR, better yet, attach the form to your check gift. The Individual Contribution Form is accessible by logging into your account on MyRotary.org, clicking on your name in the upper right, then My Donations, then on the Individual Contribution Form.
